This is a nightmare. At a park in New York City, a teenager operating a remote-control helicopter was apparently struck in the head and killed by the toy. The accident happened on Thursday in Calvert Vaux Park in the Gravesend area of Brooklyn, where people are allowed to operate model aircraft in parts of the park. The 19-year-old reportedly lost control of the helicopter, which witnesses say "boomeranged" back at him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
