Clearly the Romney campaign didn’t hit hard enough against Rick Santorum ahead of Tuesday night’s primaries. So, following his three-way loss to the former Pennsylvania senator, Romney is ready for a new approach. His campaign will now seek to discredit Santorum by painting him as the dreaded Washington Insider. “I think we'll see differences in approach that will be explored. Rick Santorum tonight was fairly aggressive in his contrasts, and I think we’ll see differences,” said Romney senior adviser Stuart Stevens, who noted that Santorum had endorsed Romney in 2008. “Look, I just don’t think it’s a time when people are looking to Washington to solve problems with Washington.”
