Conservative leader Antonis Samaras will become Greece’s next prime minister. Samara’s party won a slim majority in Sunday’s election, and agreed to form a coalition government with the backing of the Socialist PASOK and smaller Democratic left parties. Socialist leader Evangelos Venizelos confirmed on Wednesday that a coalition government had been formed after talks with Samaras, but Venizelos did not give any more information. The cabinet posts will be decided by Wednesday evening.
