Seven million is a lofty six-month goal when only six people managed to sign up in the first 24 hours after the new health care exchanges opened on Oct. 1. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday that when numbers on the first month of Obamacare enrollment are released next week they will be "very low." Initial website difficulties have made signing up difficult, but the Obama administration aims to enroll seven million Americans in the Affordable Care Act plans by the end of March. Max Baucus, the committee chairman, told Sebelius that the issues are "unacceptable."
