Kennedy cousin Michael C. Skakel has been ordered free on bail after more than a decade in jail for the murder of a teenage girl in Greenwich, Connecticut. The case has a long and dramatic history, going back to 1975 when the body of 15-year-old Martha Moxley was found battered in her family's backyard. Skakel, who was also 15 at the time, was tried and convicted decades later, and sentenced to twenty years in prison in 2002. Since then, his family has fought doggedly to overturn the ruling. Skakel is the nephew of Ethel and Robert F. Kennedy.
