Is this Spider-Man musical ever going to hit Broadway? After three postponements, it looks like Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark isn’t going to make its latest opening date of Jan. 11. The $65 million production will be delayed until Feb. 7, Entertainment Weekly exclusively learned Friday, allowing for more preparation for the technically complicated staging by Julie Taymor and the music by Bono and The Edge. It was originally supposed to open last January, but financial problems pushed it to the fall, before several actors were injured and the show’s shortcomings were woefully exposed in its first public preview in November—the performance had to be stopped five times to fix flying issues.
