The pilgrimage from Hollywood to Park City has begun, with scores of stars and journalists hitting the mountains of Utah for the annual Sundance Film Festival. With the help of Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, they’re making it so movie fans don’t have to miss out on the Sundance action. Here are some of the best snaps as the week goes on.

Jennifer Hudson

Bundled up in Park City, Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson shows off her Sundance style. “My type of shh…Sundance,” Hudson captioned her Instagram collage. She’s at the festival to promote her role as a drug-addicted mom in the film The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete.

Alicia Keys

Hudson’s The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete producer also showed off her wintry look on Instagram. “Looking at this beautiful view!” the singer turned film producer captioned her photo. “Getting my day started at the @Instyle lounge! Interviews all day for #MisterandPete how are u feeling today?;-)” Fine now, thanks, Alicia.

Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson

“Yes, it was a struggle, but the best things are,” said Alicia Keys at a panel following the premiere of The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete. She’s standing alongside the film’s stars Jennifer Hudson and Skylan Brooks, who is receiving raves for his breakout role, in this photo posted on Instagram by the Sundance Institute.

Gael Garcia Bernal

Gael Garcia Bernal is in Park City to promote the documentary Who Is Dayani Cristal?, which he produced, but he still had time to rock out—as proven in this photo tweeted by the Sundance Festival’s official Twitter account. “.@gaelgarciab wows with guitar skills at brilliant @dayanicristsal party,” the caption reads. “(is there anything he can’t do?)” We think not.

Scooter Braun

Perhaps hoping to find the Next Big Thing in Park City, producer and talent manager Scooter Braun—who has shepherded the careers of Psy and Carly Rae Jepsen—is out in Utah for Sundance. “Dinner at sundance with friends and my Norwegian brother from @onepiece and the crew. #goodtimes,” he captioned his Instagram photo.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is wearing a few hats in Park City this year. He’s premiering his directorial debut Don Juan there, a film which he also wrote and stars in. He’s also promoting his production company hitRECord. He posted this photo of setting up the Sundance “REC” room on Facebook.

Security at ‘After Tiller’

The buzzy new documentary After Tiller received a standing ovation at its Sundance debut … and also some extremely tight security. With fears over violent protests of the film, extra security detail was employed for the doc’s premiere, as shown in this photo tweeted by the website Indiewire.

Sundance Workers

It takes a village to put on a film festival. This Instagram photo from the Sundance Institute shows just some of those villagers getting ready to go to work. “Getting the troops ready in Park City!” the caption reads.

Park City

The holidays may be over, but things are still festive at Sundance. “The folks of Park City certainly know how to light up a tree…” tweeted the website Total Film.
