The State Department issued a worldwide travel alert Monday warning U.S. citizens about the risk of potential terrorist attacks by ISIS and other militants. “Information suggests that ISIL (aka Daesh), al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and other terrorist groups continue to plan terrorist attacks in multiple regions,” the statement reads. The alert is in effect until Feb. 24, 2016.
