A man has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a Missouri police officer after leading authorities on a two-day manhunt, the AP reported Wednesday. Police received a tip Tuesday evening that the suspect, identified as Ian McCarthy, was wandering within miles of where the shooting took place, law-enforcement officials said. McCarthy was charged in the shooting death of 37-year-old Clinton police officer Gary Michael, who died of his wounds sustained during a traffic stop Sunday night.
