A hostage situation at the Turkish Embassy in Tel Aviv appears to be resolved without any deaths. The suspect, a Palestinian man named Nadim Injaz, took the hostages after demanding asylum and saying he needed protection from "the murdering Jews" and also that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas "should die." Injaz was shot in the leg by embassy security guards. Four years ago, he barricaded himself in the British embassy, demanding asylum and threatening to shoot himself in the head.
