A Manhattan middle-school teacher was so frustrated by her students that she spoke openly about stabbing them, according to school investigators. Jacqueline Baffoni, a former teacher at Collaborative Academy of Science, Technology and Language Arts, allegedly made the comments in class after she found out she might be fired. A student told investigators that Baffoni said, “I feel like stabbing some of these kids—I have a knife here.” Another student claimed she said, “I have a knife in this room, and I wish I could stab them.” Baffoni denied the allegations, saying, “I would never wish to harm any of my students,” and calling the claims “false allegations” and “slanderous rumors.”
