The German city of Braunschweig canceled its annual carnival on Sunday over fear that there would be a terror attack. According to the police, "a concrete danger existed from an attack with an Islamist background." Around 250,000 people typically attend the carnival. According to the German government, they "do not have any concrete indications of attack plans in Germany."
