Supermodel Chrissy Teigen recently announced via Twitter that she was named a judge on the upcoming MTV food show "Snackdown," set to release 2014. Teigen, who maintains a personal cooking blog, isn't the first model to collaborate with -- or transition into -- the food realm from the fashion world. From Jourdan Dunn's online cooking series "Well Dunn," to Karlie Kloss's Kookies, to Elettra Weidemann's pop-up restaurant Goodness during New York Fashion Week, the top ten models who have talent both on the catwalk and in the kitchen.

Name: Chrissy Teigen


Breakthrough Role: Appeared in Sports Illustrated's 2010 Swimsuit Issue.


Modeling Claims To Fame: Spreads in Italian Vogue, Glamour, and Cosmopolitan; campaigns for Nike and Rock & Republic.


Best Food Moment: Teigen and husband John Legend appeared on Cooking Channel special "Chrissy Teigen's Hungry," which followed the couple through wedding food tastings.


Can Be Found: Maintaining her cooking blog "So Delushious" -- the slogan is "Personal random ramblings from a girl who loves bacon and can't be fat."


What's Next: Teigen was most recently was named judge of future MTV show "Snackdown," which she tweeted "Oh that's right, friends. My most exciting project yet. I. Am going to be. The Padma. Of snacks. And I am so so excited."

Name: Karlie Kloss

 

Breakthrough Role: Runway debut as a Calvin Klein exclusive in 2007; Teen Vogue cover in 2008.

 

Modeling Claims to Fame: 12 Vogue covers; Victoria's Secret Angel; campaigns for Oscar de la Renta, Christian Dior, and Dolce & Gabbana; recently told Vanity Fair that she has not been cast in shows because she is "too famous."

 

Best Food Moment: Karlie's Kookies, the model's collaboration with Momofuku Milk Bar. Portions of the two types of cookies -- the "Perfect 10" and the "5Boro" -- proceeds go to FEED.

What's Next: Lawley has reportedly signed a cookbook deal with Random House, and is in pre-production on a cooking show for Australian network Foxtel.

Name: Carol Alt
