Guess this means whoever had the brilliant idea to cast Neil Patrick Harris as the Riddler won’t get his due: Director Christopher Nolan has confirmed that, despite much speculation to the contrary, the Riddler will not be the villain in the third film of this Batman series. He also revealed that the film will be called The Dark Knight Rises. Geoff Boucher at the Los Angeles Times wonders if that’s a hint that Harvey Dent, aka Two Face, will be back; Nolan said that the title of the second film, The Dark Knight, was as much about Dent, played by Aaron Eckhart, as it was Bruce Wayne.
