Move over, Harvard. Ivy League universities have traditionally dominated rankings of America's best educational institutions. But according to an exhaustive survey by student-focused website Unigo.com, the best schools in the country aren’t the ones you think. There are certainly no surprises in Unigo's 2010 Rankings for The New Ivies, which includes engineering powerhouse Carnegie Mellon, prestigious public school University of Virginia and coveted liberal arts college Williams. Duke, Tufts, Northwestern, and New York University also made the list. Seven Sisters Wellesley College was the only all women's school to make the cut. Students surveyed went to great lengths to expound upon their school's virtues: "I wish more people knew how great of a school WashU really is," wrote one freshman.
