O.J. Simpson could be released from prison as early as October of this year and he could end up starring in a reality-TV show or documentary. “The buzz in the reality TV industry is that some producers are getting ready to scramble to sign him,” TMZ reported on Friday. Simpson was convicted in 2008 for a robbery and was given a maximum sentence of 33 years in prison—with the possibility of parole in 2017 when he turns 70. TMZ noted that controversy would undoubtedly ensue over Simpson making money off his infamy from his acquittal in the double-murder of his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. However, the gossip outlet added, “he’s still on the hook for a $33 million wrongful death judgment, and any money he makes could be attached to satisfy the judgment.”
