After graduating from the Anglican school, he attended Yale University where he became a member of the secret Scroll and Key Society and was part of Berkeley College. Later graduated with a Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University. Fareed Zakaria was named editor of Newsweek International in October 2000, overseeing all Newsweek editions abroad.
