The cast and crew of The Globe Theatre's "Globe to Globe" touring production of Hamlet. The production is aiming to visit every country in the world in a two year period to celebrate the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. So far it has visited 136 countires out of a possible 196. There are six months left of the project [the final performances will be at the Globe theaatre on the Southbank on April 23rd - Shakespeare's birth and death day.] The only country the company definitely can not get permission and insurance to visit is Syria. So they performed on the 25th October in the Zataari Refugee camp on the Jordanian Syrian border. The camp currently has several hundred thousand Syrian Refugees from the conflict in Syria, and the audience was entirely Syrian. Sarah Lee/Shakespeare's Globe
