In truly uncharacteristic fashion, Donald Trump delivered a gracious speech accepting his defeat in the Iowa caucuses Monday night. The reality-TV star lost to Texan Sen. Ted Cruz, who took in 28 percent of the vote despite pre-caucus polling showing Trump as the clear favorite. “I truly love the people of Iowa,” a smiling Trump said during his speech. “I’m just honored, I’m really honored. I want to congratulate Ted and all the incredible candidates.... Congratulations to everybody.” Trump continued on to spin his loss as a victory because, upon starting his campaign, experts suggested he’d have no shot at polling in the top 10 in the state of Iowa. “I think I might come here and buy a farm, I love it,” the real-estate mogul ended, after declaring that he will win New Hampshire next week.
