Donald Trump, in an interview with The New York Times, said he would likely reconsider several existing agreements between the U.S. and other countries if he wins the presidency—and might not even provide military aid to any NATO member countries if they were under attack. He is reported to have said that if Russia, for example, attacked the Baltic States—Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia—that he would only help after first reviewing if they had “fulfilled their obligations to us,” adding, “We are going to take care of this country first before we worry about everyone else in the world.”
