After a week of rejections, someone has finally agreed to bury the body of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the suspect in the Boston bombing who died in a shootout with police. Police would say only that “a courageous and compassionate individual came forward to provide the assistance needed to properly bury the deceased,” and that Tsarnaev was interred somewhere outside Massachusetts. The funeral director searched for six days for a cemetery that would accept Tsarnaev’s body, as people protested outside his funeral home. “This is what we do, this is the right thing to do,” said the director. “We’re burying a dead body.”
