Two men—one adult and one minor—have been arrested in connection with the rape of a Texas teen, Jada, whose assault went viral on social media in July, according to MSNBC. The 16-year-old Houston girl was at a summer party when she was drugged, possibly with a spiked drink. She has no memory of what happened next—but mocking photographs started spreading on social media, under the hashtag #jadapose, of the unconscious girl being raped. The national backlash to the Internet harassment was fierce—and now there appears to be a break in the case. "It's wonderful about the arrests, but I'm just grateful and thankful for everyone who followed and supported me," Jada told MSNBC's Ronan Farrow, in an appearance with local Black Panther leader Quanell X (who, as Jezebel has noted, has his own complicated history of supporting 18 men who were accused of gang-raping an 11-year-old girl in a 2011 case).
