Search operations are underway for a U.S. service member who went missing late Friday after a U.S. Black Hawk helicopter crashed off the southern coast of Yemen. A statement released by the U.S. Central Command said five other Americans who’d been on board the aircraft were rescued. An investigation has been opened into the accident, which happened about 20 miles offshore. The Central Command said the incident occurred during “a routine training event specifically for U.S. military personnel.”
