The U.S. military says American-backed Syrian rebel forces have breached a major wall in Raqqa, the self-proclaimed ISIS capital. The Syrian Democratic Forces cleared the Rafiqa Wall after months of attempting to push back against ISIS there. Top ISIS officials are believed to have fled to a neighboring province as the Syrian rebel forces gained ground. The U.S.-led coalition says around 2,500 ISIS militants remain in Raqqa.
