CMA's Slam Kanye West, Twice
It's the meme that just won't die. On Wednesday night's CMA's, hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood took a few swipes at Kanye West for interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMA's... two months ago. ABC

Country music is about real people making real music and being two months too late for a joke. (I especially enjoyed the subtext of Brad Paisley talking about real people with camera cuts to the multiracial crowd of people from all hues of rice and salt.)

Samgyupsal...Kind of like the multiracial crowd at all of the black awards shows or the latino awards shows?
Why is this allowed to go on when there is no way a white people awards show would be allowed?
I don't see any white people winning awards at the black awards shows, but i have seen plenty of black people winning awards at the other awards shows.

It's fair play sorta.. BUT..

..Didn't Kanye apologize to Taylor Swift PERSONNALY? OR did he do it thru the media? I'm asking.... if he did it thru the media.. then its fair play as far as the CMA is concern....

..however to mentioned Kanye's mother who died suddenly..not along... was intentional and disrespectful to Kanye's mother..who's deceased..to make fun of the dead in this case.. demonstrates a LACK of manners also..the very senitment expressed in the parody of principle..

He did both: media apology and private phone call to her.

In Taylor's defense, I think it's everyone else milking it for extra laughs. But hey, she did walk away with FOUR CMA's thanks a large part to the publicity that the entire Kanye-gate gave her. She was already famous amongst the tweens but it made her famous amongst adults too.

As the say, there is no such thing as bad publicity but I still think Kanye is a jerk (not just for his treatment of Taylor Swift).
