Someone. Please muzzle this looney, whacked out cocaine head.
She doesn't know comedy. No one laughs with her but AT HER.
Go JANEANE GO!!!! Looks like the O'Reilly "jounalist" is the one who got ambushed. They are so used to people running away from them when they run up on some poor unsuspecting schmuck whilst they are running errands or performing some other mundane task. But JG did more than answer the questions, she took them to task! The Faux News journalist had NO FOLLOW-UP! Hurrah for her!
Are you sure your name isn't Jack OFF?????
Bullshit. Janeane Garofalo just pisses off right wingnuts because she says things they don't want to hear.
She just shoved that interview right up the Fox ambush interviewer's behind, and O'Reilly was too stupid to kill the broadcast of it.
Ambushed?? I thought she was enjoying the whole event. She always rises to the occasion to spew her tired rhetoric. Could it be LBD (Lymbic Brain Deficit)?

Yeah, you're black like I'm fuschia. Janeane said what I've been saying for a long time. 99% of the redneck hillbilly morons who say they disagree with PRESIDENT Obama's policies (as if they even understand what they are) are just enraged by the n****r in the White House.
Hey, View: That post had nine mentions of race in it. Try to learn to express your political opinions without resorting to the race card, OK?
And in case you didn't notice it, she was supporting black people while she was shoving that interviewer up the Fox intern's butt.
LOL! I like Janeane, and she has a lot of guts. But she should really ease-up on the racist argument. It's the classic 'red herring' that the right-wing will pounce on because they can't respond to anything else she is saying.
They failed to mention the more important thing that the Teabaggers who said that they were going to protest her never bothered to show up.
Protest-free Janeane Garofalo Gig Rings True

I'm no fan of Garofalo, but compared to Billo she looks like a genius.
She gets uglier with every passing year--and I don't mean on the outside.
Gees Repukes have thin skin. 8yrs of dishing it out but a few months thus far of having to take it, and they are whimpering, and whining to no end. Garofalo is a little to far to the left for my personal tastes and after a while she does come off as a little shrill, but there is no comparison to Billo and his daily bile. I don't think there is any arguing with her statement at the end of the clip either.
Anyone who uses their time in front of a camera to call Bill O'Reilly the idiot/monster that he is should at least be praised for their honest use of airtime, if not given a medal. Maybe she's too left, but what does that make him? Moderate? No. And please remember that you always have to look at your source; a news clip from O'Reilly's show is never, ever actually going to display the unadulterated, uncensored answers of people who go against his politics. He lies for a living; why would he let other people speak their own, complete truths on his show?
She does have a point though. what else could it be? where was everyone on this during the last 8 years from the republican party? If that question can be answered then her race idea is no longer valid.
JG rocks. Nothing ugly about her inside or out. She speaks the truth with wit and smarts. And you can just tell that Bill has the secret hots for her! You know he's thinking about her when he has phone sex with his personal assistants.
heh-heh
I think she is hilariously funny when she is doing comedy. In this case, she was completely serious about the fiscal irresponsibility of the Bush administration and the hypocrisy of Republicans who supported that waste and are now critical of the Obama administration. Bill O'Reilly's thinking is not worth discussing.
The ambush thing is all about rehearsing your point and giving your oppponent no chance to prepare.
Amazing how threatening to some a succinct, cool and intelligent woman can be.
She answered each one of the questions and the "ambusher" seemed a little frustrated by that. What was edited out in the middle?
Shorter version of transcript:
Janeane Garofalo: I think those protestors are hypocritical and racist. Also, I don't care what Bill says.
Bill O'Reilly: Yeah? Well, you're not pretty!
Yep, he's a genius. You too, Sahas24. Pure genius.
Thanks for noticing!

She just scares you because she says stuff you don't want to hear, and she takes no shit from anybody, least of all Fox News.
I'm with Janeane. I don't give a crap about what Bill says or thinks either.
Fascinating. Does Bill expect us to view this and think she's somehow off? She comes across as totally correct and he as a loser. It's interesting that some people could view it otherwise, but hey that's what's great about America, you are free to be wrong.
Of course some of the signs were racist and of course the idea of suddenly protesting about fiscal irresponsibilitty is hypocritical if you haven't been doing so as successive Republican administrations racked up 90% of our national debt that is now chocking us. They aren't for fiscal responsibility -- they just want to waste on money on their prioritizes and are mad they're not in control anymore.
Janeane is a great and smart American. She's passionate and cares about America. I remember sitting over in Al Udid Air base in Qatar while the bombs were falling in Iraq, watching Joe Scarborough eviscerate Janeane for her views on the war. Turns out she was right. Why don't you play some of those tapes O'Reilly? O'Reilly has a successful show because it is well organized and interesting enough to hold your attention. However, in my opinion, if you are looking for the truth, you would be well advised to look somewhere else.

First, that is factually incorrect.
Second, you are confusing debt and deficit. Republicans have squandered our ability to react to an economic crisis by spending the last 28 years building massive debt. Even all the stimulus spending now is dwarfed by the debt Reagan and the two Bushs built-up. They liked to whip out our national credit card and worry about the interest payments later. Now that they have nearly bankrupted the country, suddenly their party says "oh, wait, we need to be fiscally responsible." It's about as credible as an compulsive gambler suggesting they safeguard your savings.
You are 100 percent correct. The big spending, big government republicans sold out America to the oil companies and for tax cuts for the richest one percent of Americans. Everything finally blew up last year. The republicans will not take the blame or learn from their mistakes. It's going to be a long road back to fiscal sanity and energy independence. I hope Americans will be up to the challenge.
Jeanane Garofalo has developed the confidence to speak her mind honestly and articulately, and all her detractors can do is call her angry and unattractive. I think she's brainy, witty and beautiful! I always enjoy hearing what she has to say, and watching her say it w/o being fearfully timid of what lunacy will follow....
I was under the same impression of the teabaggers - they don't give a flip about the deficit - they're pissed a black guy is in the White House.
I appreciate her too!
Janeane Garofolo is smart (and sexy!) and even if she may from time to time, (like most of us), inadvertently exaggerate a thing here or there, she is speaking honestly, from the heart and making reasonable, thoughtful statements overall.
Bill O'Reilly is a cheating, nasty bully of a man and has been caught out as a liar dozens of times over. The entire purpose of those "interviews" is to deceive, and to respond by saying that Janeane is the liar or that O'Reilly may have a point is just ridiculous.
Why would anyone give a sh*t what Bill O'Reilly thinks indeed.
Bill O'Reilly is right, she is attractive. It is great to see him so clearly displaying his antiquated worldview by suggesting her behavior is unattractive. Remember the good old days bill? Back when you could burn a woman at the stake for disagreeing with you.
I don't care for the politics of either, but if the best Bill can come up with is "Attractive, isn't she?", then he is obviously the loser in this battle.
People on the extreme right . . . and extreme left are one in the same.
Liberals are all for " free speech " accept when it comes to a conservative point of view, at which point we get the typical, predictable name calling directed at conservatives, calling them "homophobes, racists, xenophobes."
It works the other way as well when conservatives
conveniently label liberals " fascists, radicals, commies. "
Far right . . . Far left . . . you are all the same,
incapable of intellectual honesty and objectivity.
While I agree that the "far left" can be as bad as the "far right" as you put it, your examples of labeling are not equivalent. "Racist" "Homophobic" and "xenophobic" are tangible conditions that can to a reasonable person be applied to someone who takes certain actions or makes certain statements. In this case, for example, some of the protesters had clearly racist signs, and she pointed that out. That's not an "insult," that is a description.
"fascists" "radicals" and "commies" on the other hand, in the context typically used in this country, are not being literally descriptive but are merely insults. The far left corollary would be to call the far right "reactionaries" (the opposite of radicals) or the president a "dictator." Even at his worse, Bush was never a literal dictator any more than virtually anyone on the left in this country is literally a fascist or a communist. But some people in this country are literally racist, etc.
Thank you.
