Hillary: Maybe It's a Woman Thing?
In a one-on-one interview on Today, Hillary Clinton says she’s happy being a team player—perhaps because she's a lady? And she brushes off the suggestion of another presidential run...but do her awkward chuckles lie?

Hillary interested in being the first female POTUS?

Surely you must jest!

I can't imagine she's happy. Some of these foreign leaders have demanded to speak to Obama, not her. This Nobel prize is just going to make that more likely. It doesn't just impact the photo opts, it impacts her ability to do the behind the scenes sludge work without his involvement.

Two OTHER women have held the same post and NONE of the foreign leaders have had a problem with it. This is just another dig on Hillary by TDB who believes that she has super-human powers and should be running the entire world. We are supposed to feel sorry for Hillary every time she is on t.v. and declare her to be a victim of the man standing closest to her.

The trashy mags have a similar concept but for Jennifer Aniston. Every article on Aniston makes her out to be a victim of any man standing too close to her on the street.

This is probably another fabricated story by journalists in order stir interest. The general impression I get is that Clinton's doing a fine job as Secretary of State. She likes the work, and I'm sure she carries out Obama's policies in the manner and spirit in which they're intended.

Because of her previous ambitions, there's constant media scrutiny to find daylight between Clinton and Obama on policy so that said journalists can point to discord between them. Perhaps some journalists are still accustomed to how the Bush White House worked; If a cabinet member wasn't part of Bush's inner circle, he wasn't a decision maker, as was the case with Secretary of State Colin Powell.

When Clinton broke her elbow last summer, she had to spend a lot of time on physical therapy to recover. The rehabilitation kept her in Washington, and as a result, she wasn't able to directly participate in some high-profile diplomacy. Some writers turned this non-story into innuendo about Clinton's role in the White House.

Sometimes journalists are so goofy.

SHE IS NOT CO-PRESIDENT!!! She should not be as visible as Obama and not even biden.

The only reason we saw Condoleeza so much is because she had to continuously explain her boss's failures.

And who does the media think they are fooling? She is working for her former opponent and you are asking her if she is going to run for President?

Hillary Clinton did the same thing when she was elected Senator from New York. She shut up, kept her head down and did the work, and became an excellent representative of the people of that state in Congress (compare that to Sarah Palin).

She is quietly doing the work of Secretary of State without lusting after photo ops, and she's doing the work. Contrary to what she says, she will one day run for the Presidency and make an excellent one.

This is probably the Right Wing's worst nightmare, since they are so afraid of women.

Get a clue: there is no one more terrified of women that the Left Wing Establishment. Proven, end of story.

I will vote for any women on the potus ticket. Women first! I'd love to have a Margaret Thatcher type here in the US. I wanted Hillary but she is in Obama's box now and can't get out! Palin was very ready for vice-president, but the Left Wing Misogyny machine shredded her. Hillary was WAY more ready that O-nada, but the Left Wing Misogyny machine shredded her.
Women stand together! We need women in BOTH parties or we will forever be marginalized to 17% of our government!

Yeah that's the way to improve women's image, by electing Palin to office. If all you need is a uterus to vote for someone, good-luck in the real world.

The "Left Wing Establishment" will be more than happy to see Palin run for office in 2012. I would even contribute money to her campaign if it will guarantee that she runs.

This is a good example of the PUMA-ites from the campaign. Screw logic, just elect a uterus, even if it costs the Dems the Presidency.

The fact that she has to defend her job mean Barry is bypassing her with all of his envoys. She is waiting for 2013. If his numbers are very low, she will try to take white house away from him.

all of "his" envoys? She will be running in 2013?

Do you even have a clue as to what you are talking about?

She is in Europe right now, why don't you fly there and save her from the big, bad, MEN in the world.

She's a lady?
Shirley you jest.
Don't call me Shirley.
And ask Vince Foster
What he thinks
Of course you won't
Get very far
Because he was found
In Marcy Park
A victim of suicide
With two bullets in his head
No dirt on his shoes
Even though
He was 200 yards
Inside the park
