Well, if you're looking for Ego in poetry, there would be your best case History. Oddly, only similarly aligned Egos would be drawn to such malificence. True Class respects the other, even and mostly when it is at the expense of self, and not others.
Some poetry 'cracks', right down the middle, and then shatters into a star pattern just as it does in the rest of Nature.
