Reporters Stand for Obama, Not Bush
The comparison is a bit unfair in that perhaps reporters stop standing for any president after seven years. Still, watch them sit as Bush enters the room, and snap to attention as Obama does.

Let me put it this way ...
In 2010 I will dare anyone to provide me with a video of a single journalist standing up when President Obama enters the press room ...
This is only a short term effect people ...
IF in 2012, journos are still standing at attention when Obama walks in, THEN you can compare it to a Bush walk-in in 2008 ... ( barely )

Whether it's a fact or not, I have the sense that Obama respects me. I think I would stand for him, too. I never felt that Bush either respected me or gave darn what I was thinking.
