Suzanne Somers' Medical Nightmare
Actress Suzanne Somers was on CNN Friday night talking about her recent medical scare. This past fall, doctors mistakenly told Somers, a breast cancer survivor since her 2001 lumpectomy, that she had terminal cancer.

Many things don't appear right in this story as told by Somers: it seems to me that she was totally scared, the situation was critical, and the doctors while trying to figure out the disease, were INFORMING her of the possible causes. They were able to rule out anything deadly, and she blames them for making the wrong diagnosis?

She is wanting publicity for something or other. Larry King is always available.

Did she offer proof on the diagnosis? Yes, I am a skeptic. Somer's has said her husband has made her highly marketable, and she can in fact, "sell anything." Cancer cure to jewelry, "In Suzanne we trust."

Don't doubt her story. There are plenty of cases of misdiagnosis in this country. Just cause she is famous doesn't mean she's lying.

Then she should have no problem giving us the name of the doctor to interview. She refuses to do so. Sorry, but doctor don't 'scan' for the kinds of symptoms she had, which sound like a severe allergic reaction.

Whatever you guys...man, how quickly we judge, eh? Its called 'practicing medicine' for a reason, ya know? Sometimes doctors get it wrong, and being human, they are not infallible..just do some research on the subject. Having worked in the profession myself, I can assure you mistakes are made all the time, otherwise there'd be no need for malpractice insurance, now would there?

She's a sly fake who's gotten rich tapping the vein of American superstition and mistrust. Sad. She got caught getting fake boobs so she said she had breast cancer. And what the hell is "full body cancer"? Good grief. Anyway, any body who can parlay sarcoidosis into a bestseller is up there with PT Barnum.

If anyone's flaky it's the Medical INDUSTRY as it exists in America today.
They are in the BUSINESS of making money,
above and beyond the impulse to Heal.
Over 200,00 people die in America yearly from taking pharmaceutical poisons,
not from over-dosing on them but from following the instructions exactly how they had been prescribed>
As an HONEST Dr once said, there is no such thing as being deficient in a pharmaceutical drug,
but there IS such a thing as being deficient in basic vitamins and minerals,
and cancer is the manifestation of longterm chronic malnutritioned life styles which is more often than not the norm with the genetically engineered franken food that proliferates the grocery shelves of today.
I applaud the COURAGE of Ms Somers that she had the wherewithal to find a Natural Holistic path of healing herself from breast cancer.
If she had meekly gone along with the medical INDUSTRY's way of handling it, she'd either be dead or breast-less,
but either way, alot less healthy !
She is an inspiration for Independent and Intelligent people everywhere ....
Bravo Suzanne !

Suzanne Somers is the epitome of drama queens. She fabricates all this medical nonsense, dispenses bogus medical advice (in her books), and is a looney tune. When she gets a cold, she inflates it into this ridiculous charade for publicity. She's a has been who will do ANYTHING to promote herself. She doesn't realize how embarrassing she comes off. If you ever really get sick, no one will believe you.

SHE TAKES 60 PILLS A DAY!!! For all kinds of crap. Plus several shots of stuff that has no medical basis. She doesn't know what the effects of these "supplements" are! People warned her that so many supplements would blow out her liver and her other detoxifying organs.

NOT ONCE in this interview did she mention her crazy "health" regime. Read her last book if you want a good scare. This woman is a giant warped bundle of denial.

I guess I don't see the point. Frankly, regardless of what they had done, she would have been doing this interview talking about her awful experience. Many diseases have the same symptoms and it takes awhile to diagnose. Especially with someone who generally shuns medical care and is mistrustful of a doctors motives. She is lucky doctors take the Hippocratic Oath, otherwise they wouldn't touch her with a 10 foot pole.

I believe her based on numerous experiences I have had with the gross fraudulent medical field. Several of my friends and myself nearly died because of the wrong initial medical diagnosis. The biggest lie has been antibiotics which the FDA tried to ban because the side effects include heart attacks and cancer. The worst antibiotics are included in the food supply (pork, turkey, chicken, fish, and beef). The antibiotics fed to meat/poltery/fresh water fish are used for promoting accellerated growth such as hormones/steroids used on Barry Bonds and A-Rod. The doctors try to prescribe antibiotics to patients with an infection such as the one Ms Summers complained about. But, these antibiotics, expecially amoxicillin, cause swollen joints, diarhea, heart disease, and cancer. Many of the so-called MDs are not really doctors. They probably got their licenses off of E-Bay. Thanks Sue, for the guts to expose a very corrupt organization (the medical field) even worse than the Drug cartel.

Well folks there you have it! another good reason to pass the Health Reform Bill. We need to help these RICH folks pay for what appears to be a rash. What a whiney cow.
