Christine Cavanaugh, the woman who gave voice to prominent childhood characters, passed away at the age of 51. Cavanaugh first gave voice to Goslyn Duck in 1991’s Darkwing Duck, before taking on Chuckie from Rugrats, Dexter from Dexter’s Laboratory, and Babe, a talking pig, from the 1995 film by the same name. Her cause of death is unknown. “Christina lived her life the way she wanted,” her obituary stated. “Accolades, notoriety, and recognition were not the reason for her interest in entertainment, it was for the love of entertainment, to make people smile.”
