Whole Foods announced Tuesday that it will take legal action against an Austin man who claimed to have purchased a cake from the grocery chain that included a homophobic slur drawn on it. Jordan Brown, a gay pastor, said he received a custom cake from the grocer with the words “Love Wins Fag” on its icing. The company released surveillance footage contradicting Brown’s claims, however, and defended their team member as having written solely “Love Wins” on the pre-packaged cake.
