WikiLeaks’ Assange To Be Questioned

Swedish police will question WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on claims by two women that he molested them, the Swedish chief prosecutor says. Allegations of rape that led authorities to issue an arrest warrant for Assange have been found to be without merit. Assange says he’s innocent of these allegations as well, and he told Al Jazeera on Sunday that Australian intelligence officers warned him of a plan to discredit WikiLeaks. Yesterday, the site released a secret C.I.A. memo warning of the danger of America being viewed as a “exporter of terrorism” and last month published tens of thousands of classified files on the Afghanistan war.
