England’s Danny Willett won the Masters after defending champion Jordan Spieth’s lead collapsed on the 12th hole in the final round at Augusta National on Sunday. Spieth was leading Willett by five strokes when he took a bad turn, bogeying the 10th, followed by another on the 11th, before he put two balls in the water on the par-3 12th and ended up with a quadruple bogey. The 12th-ranked Willett shot a 5-under 67 to go into the final round at 5-under overall, finishing three shots ahead of Lee Westwood and Spieth. Willett is the first Englishman to win the Masters since Nick Faldo’s third win in 1995.
