It's been a rough spring quarter for Lululemon. The sportswear company--a cult favorite among fashionable gym girls and yummy mummies--was forced to recall a production run of its popular yoga pants after fans complained that the workout clothes were too sheer. Now, the company has announced that its Chief Product Officer Sheree Waterson is out and that it is stepping up factory oversight to ensure the fabric is no longer see-through.
Lululemon's stock plunged after the pants brouhaha. The defective clothes represented 17 percent of the company's pant sales and the recall prompted a brief yoga pant shortage.
