‘Female Viagra’ Targets Mind Over Body

Low libido due to monogamy?

A new pill called Lybrido may be available within a few years, and it’s already being compared to Viagra. But Lybrido would focus more on a woman’s “psyche, not just the physical body.” Studies have shown that Viagra-like pills usually don’t raise a woman’s desire, simply because it’s easier for men to be aware of genital arousal. Lybrido could help long-term couples struggling in the bedroom, but remember, popping a pill sometimes isn’t a catch-all solution.
