Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, made her last public appearance Thursday before going on maternity leave, sporting an animal print and a baby bump that looked ready to pop. The royal baby is due in July and will be the heir to the throne, but today the little baby got to witness a British tradition from the womb. Middleton cut a cord, sending the traditional bottle of champagne to smash against the hull of the Royal Princess. The ceremony also included a performance by Natasha Bedingfield and military bands. The duchess was named the “godmother” of the ship, which will make its maiden voyage Sunday. Bon voyage!
