Former Democratic Congressman and San Diego Mayor Bob Filner said he will not be resigning amid allegations he sexually harassed women. This week, claims surfaced that he had forced two women to kiss him. Filner said, according to Politico, "I do not believe I am guilty of sexual harassment, and I believe a full presentation of the facts will vindicate me."
A former councilwoman, Donna Frye, reported the mayor groped women during his term and that Filner is "tragically unsafe for any woman to approach." Previously, Frye was a known supporter of Filner, Philly.com reported.
According to Fox News, knowledge of his sexual exploits were so common employees used the phrase "The Filner Dance," describing how women would get around his sexual advances. Politico said Filner referred to himself as a "hugger of both men and women." Not so classy, San Diego.
