What better way is there to get people to notice your product in a hypersaturated advertising market? A public relations executive in Tokyo is trying to get attention for his clients by advertising on the thighs of young women. "It's an absolutely perfect place to put an advertisement," said Hidenori Atsumi, the chief executive officer of WIT, an advertising agency, who came up with the idea. "It's what guys are eager to look at and girls are OK to expose." The women must be over 18 and be willing to wear miniskirts and long socks to draw attention to the advertisements. So far, more than 3,000 females have signed up to be human billboards.
