Rep. Gets Death Threats Over Gun Bill
If you ask the interns, the work experience probably isn’t worth death threats. New York Rep. Carolyn Maloney has received death threats because of her legislation to stop gun violence. The bill the Democrat is working on specifically calls for gun owners to have insurance. Maloney’s New York office interns received the phone threats. Maloney said that while she takes the threat of more gun violence seriously, it isn’t enough to stop her from doing her work.
