Maria Shriver to Return to NBC News
Nothing like getting revenge on your ex by returning to your career better than ever. Maria Shriver will go back to NBC after a decade-long absence, she announced on Tuesday. She will be a special correspondent for women’s issues. Shriver, the daughter of Sargent and Eunice Shriver and a niece of John F. Kennedy, left in 2004 after her husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was elected governor of California. NBC News will have exclusive access to her “Shriver Reports,” the next of which will be released in 2014. Shriver served as anchor and correspondent for NBC News for nearly 20 years, and won a Peabody Award for her work on Dateline about single mothers and welfare.
