Brooklyn Hosts ‘Edgy Mom’ Reading
Like drinking wine and spilling your strangest mother-related confessions? Then plan on celebrating Mother's Day on Thursday night at the annual “Edgy Moms” reading in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The event will host “very, very frank” stories, according to creator Louise Crawford, who says the reading celebrates “the non-sanctimonious, non-perfect, non-Martha Stewart side of motherhood.” One year, a woman shared a story of masturbating while breastfeeding. “It took the edgy even edgier,” remembers Crawford. Gift bags will be provided by sex store Babeland.
