End Sex Trafficking Day Campaign Launches

To raise funds for nonprofits.

Slavery is alive and well, even in 2013. According to the End Sex Trafficking Day campaign, more than 27 million people are enslaved in trafficking worldwide. The campaign, which launches today, seeks to raise $25,000 for five nonprofits: Exodus Cry; The Sold Project; Courtney's House; and New Friends, New Life and Not for Sale. These nonprofits cover the aspects of awareness, prevention, rescue, and recovery, respectively. The campaign is slated to end on October 26, which is End Sex Trafficking Day. Last year, the organization compiled a book written by entrepreneurs, authors, and artists to raise money for the Not For Sale Campaign.
