An elevator maintenance crew discovered the body of a woman who had starved to death after being trapped in an elevator for a month in Xi'an, China. Authorities said the elevator company had exhibited "gross negligence" and at least one person has been detained in connection with an investigation. The woman's hands were allegedly mangled from trying to open the doors.
