Not the best way to end an official visit. As Chinese President Hu Jintao ends his four-day official visit to the United States, a U.S. man who attempted to spy on the U.S. for China was sentenced to four years in prison Friday. Glenn Duffie Shriver, 28, admitted he tried to get a job at the Central Intelligence Agency between 2005 and 2010 in order to gain access to classified national defense information and turn it over to the Chinese. In 2004, Shriver, who speaks Mandarin, met three Chinese agents, and was subsequently given $70,000 as a thank you for his “friendship.”
