Now that the holidays are over it’s easy to fall back into your same standard mixology rut. But we say shake things up by starting your new year by trying a few new delicious cocktail recipes.
From the classic Last Word to the festive King’s Ginger Spiced Punch, these drinks will help you get your 2017 off to a spirited start. Cheers!
Last Word
Ingredients:
.75 oz. Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur .75 oz Junipero Gin .75 oz Green Chartreuse .75 oz Fresh lime juice
Glass: Cocktail
Directions: Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Amaretto Bourbon Punch
Ingredients:
37.5 oz Hirsch Small Batch Reserve Bourbon 6.25 oz Luxardo Amaretto di Saschira 12.5 oz Fresh lemon juice 12.5 oz Sparkling apple juice 6.25 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water) 37.5 oz Seltzer
Glass: Punch cup
Directions: Add all the ingredients to a punch bowl and fill with ice. Stir. This recipe serves 25.
The Reserved King

Ingredients:
2.5 oz Glenrothes Vintage Reserve Scotch .5 oz King’s Ginger Liqueur 3 to 4 dash Angostura Bitters Lemon Peel
Glass: rocks
Directions: Muddle the lemon peel and bitters with the King’s Ginger in a rocks glass. Add the Scotch and stir.
The King’s Ginger Spiced Punch
Ingredients:
25 oz King’s Ginger Liqueur 37.5 oz Cranberry juice 37.5 oz Fever-Tree Lemonade
Garnish: Lemon wheel and strawberry slices
Glass: Punch cup
Directions: Add all ingredients into a punch bowl or pitcher and fill with ice. Add ice and stir. Garnish with lemon wheels and strawberry slices.
French 75
Ingredients:
.75 oz No.3 London Dry Gin or H by HINE .75 oz Fresh lemon juice 1 dash Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)Sparkling wine
Garnish: Lemon peel or Luxardo Cherry
Glass: Champagne flute
Directions: Add all the ingredients, except the sparkling wine, to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake. Strain into a Champagne flute and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a Luxardo Cherry or a peel of lemon.
