After a sale last week on its Ultra model, indoor gardening tech company AeroGarden is back at it today with several day-long deals, most important of which is a 25% discount on its Bounty model, which you can get today for $173.
Like I said last week, I’ve always found it difficult to buy the right amount of cilantro and parsley — I either buy too little and compromise the dish or buy too much and they rot over the few days as I try to use them up. The Bounty is a path to taking control over your herb supply — and consumption — since it lets you grow fresh herbs, vegetables, flowers, and whatever else you want to plant in it. And you can do it year-round, regardless of how cold or dark it is outside (or how clothed you are). An interactive touch screen lets you control the machine, set scheduled lighting, and alerts you to feeding or watering times. The Bounty allows you to extend the arm of its lamp to make room for taller plants if your crop has been, well, bountiful.
While you’re getting an herb kit to supplant you with basil, parsley, thyme, dill, chives, and mint, Scouted editor Jillian Lucas recommends you consider grabbing one or several additional herb kits — one of the top-rated kits is also on sale and you can get it for $12 (that’s 42% off).
For those of us who can’t decide how much parsley is enough parsley, the AeroGarden Bounty is the answer we’ve been waiting for.
