A well-intentioned Twitter user excitedly tweeted a photo of a new Beyoncé wax sculpture on Tuesday, and the “likeness” was met with decidedly terrible reviews. One critic responded by saying, “Who is that? Becky with the good hair? That’s no Beyonce,” while another replied with a simple “Oof.”

Although there are a fair share of impressive (and sometimes devastatingly handsome) effigies on display at various wax houses around the world, this most recent homage is just another in a long list of bizarre semi-depictions of celebrities in wax form.
