Bud Light Marketing VP Takes Leave of Absence After Anti-Trans Boycotts

Bud Light Vice President of Marketing Alissa Heinerscheid is taking a leave of absence, the company announced Friday according to Ad Age, following a wave of conservative, transphobic boycotts of the company for launching a partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Heinerscheid was first brought onto the team last year to revamp the brand’s image and will now be replaced by Todd Allen, vice president of global marketing for Budweiser.
