He's still a few political offices behind the Bush dynasty, but former President Jimmy Carter is catching up. Carter's grandson, Jason Carter, announced on Thursday that he will run for governor of Georgia in next year's election. The 38-year-old Democrat was elected to the state Senate in 2010 and has been an ardent supporter of education reform and redistricting plans. He will face incumbent Republican Gov. Nathan Deal who is seeking reelection.
